ABOUT XYSTI MIAMI

XYSTI MIAMI was born from a lifelong intersection of design, place, and reinvention.

While stationed in Vicenza, Italy as a U.S. Army officer, founder Stephen Matthew Wisniew became captivated by the relationship between Italian fashion and architectural design. Years later, when his daughter asked him to create a Halloween costume and confidently told her friends, “My dad can make anything,” he bought a sewing machine, taught himself garment construction, and discovered a new creative direction.

After retiring from the Army, serving as a White House Innovation Fellow, and continuing his exploration of fashion and design, Stephen returned to South Florida with a vision for a brand rooted in the character of Miami.

Miami is XYSTI’s constant source of inspiration. Its light, water, architecture, tropical landscape, and modern energy shape the proportions, textures, colors, and atmosphere of each collection.

XYSTI MIAMI creates refined women’s fashion that balances structure and ease—tailored silhouettes softened by resort-inspired versatility. Many pieces are made in Miami and produced in limited quantities, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, distinctive materials, and thoughtful construction.
